More About Mat Brown and Brownie’s Rugby Bunker

After graduating he spent several seasons playing for the Oxy Olde Boys in Southern California, followed by a stint with the Missoula All-Maggots in Montana. In 1995 he moved to Latvia, where he first played for Riga Miesnieks, then was a founding member of the Riga Exiles. He appeared twice for Latvia, earning a cap in 1997 against Bulgaria in a World Cup Qualifying match. In 1999 he began work in broadcast television as a producer of Championship Rugby on Fox.
